Back Pain
Dr. Newman sees a variety of patients with back in the clinic and many of the present with one of the following:
· Dull achy pain localized to your mid-back or low back
· Sharp, shooting or stabbing pain in your mid-back or low back
· Sharp, shooting, electrical pain or sciatic like symptoms into your buttock, leg, or foot
· Numbness, tingling or weakness in your lower back, buttocks, leg, or foot
· Radiating pain from your low back into your buttock, leg, or foot
It is important to seek chiropractic care when you start to experience pain. If you let your low back pain linger for extended period of time the body will start to create compensatory and irregular patterns to support your body when you move that can result in tightness, soreness, stiffness and possibly more pain in your muscles and joints.
Don’t let your back pain hinder you from doing the things you love!
Book an appointment with Dr. Newman today. She will perform a detailed history and physical exam to determine the root cause of your back pain, provide you with an individualized treatment program, give you exercises to do from home to help stabilize and strengthen your back and hips, and provide insight on how to prevent a flare-up from occurring.
